Hey there,
Thanx 4 having a look at my blog! In this blog I'm going to tell you about the Blythe-business that's going on in my life. Only recently, I discovered these lovely creatures. Through some other peoples' blogs I think. They looked adorable, and cool too. They each had their own personality and that's what attracted me, I guess.
I browsed around first, hesitating whether I should buy one or not. Because let's face it: they're expensive. For dolls. Sure, there are always more expensive dolls out there, but still. The good thing is, they keep their value. They can even become more valuable if you customize them good. That's what I tell myself: If I ever want to get rid of them, I can sell them at the price they originally cost me.
Yeah, right, like I could ever sell any of them again...
Anyway, I caved in and bought my first dolly a few weeks ago. She's a 'Natasha Moore' and I named her 'Dawn Serenity'. Already I had my eyes on another one, 'Angelica Eve'. She spoke to me because I thought of her as a symbol for my deceased mom. But, during that time someone at the forum offered a blonde mohair dolly. And she looked so CUTE!
I figured, what the heck, and I got them both. Dawn felt terribly lonely already, LOL. 'Angelica Eve' became 'Angel Skye', and the mohair girl goes by the name 'Summer Soleil'.
Still, they missed a sister. A black-haired girl. So, again I gave in and bought them a sister that is named 'Devon Starr'. Right now, she's still got a brownish bob, but I've ordered her a short-haired wig with bangs, black with a white streak. Cool, huh?
For now, I can't buy any more dollies! They're awfully cute though, and I'd really like a 'Dainty Biscuit' or a 'Can Can Cat' someday. I LOVE their haircolours!
I've gone rather crazy about getting them clothes, shoes and accessories already as well. I've done some of my own sewing and I intend to do it a lot more so I can sell something instead of just buying all the time. I even bought a new sewing machine because the one I inherited from my mom kinda gave up on me. But the shoes are so CUTE!
I've built them a wardrobe too, already. And I've bought the 'Expedit' closet from Ikea to turn into a house for them. Like I didn't have enough hobbies already, God my house is filled to the brim already, I have to do some cleaning up first before I can even put up another case! :S
But, it's almost my vacation, and besides working on my own, human-sized house, I intend to work on my Blythe-house as well. And I'll keep you posted with pics! Hope to see you around, next time I'll add some more pics of the girls, right now I have to get ready in order to attend 2 Birthdays...
Thanx for looking, comments are always welcome and appreciated! Bye bye!
Introducing my girls and me!
